Went out yesterday afternoon and got the 4 blueberries planted.

Planted the Two Golden rasberries.

Now this is weird!! The blueberries went in on a north facing slope and I found no frost.

The Golden rasberries went in on a south facing slope.

The Red Rasberries were supose to go in a row 20 ft down the slope from the Goldens.

But I hit frost 3" below the surface?? So they did not get planted.

I would have thought the frost would go out on a south facing slope first?

No the daytime highs have been above freezing for 2 weeks(one day last week was only 34)  It Was 58 Saturday and got to 72 yesterday. . I drove my Isuzu Axiom up the slope a weekago Saturday to unload Dog food and only put it in 4 WD to assure I did not cut ruts and never spun a wheel.

They are predicting Highs this week to be mid 40's and low 50's this weekend. We are predicted to get rain through Wednesday which should drive the frost out this week. So I should be able to plant (mud in) the rest over next weekend?

If your getting the rain we are up here, you should be able to plant them in a day or two.
