The 2014 FCVAEC Plow Day has a new home with more dirt to turn than we used to have.
I am disappointed that ours and the WPGTA plow day overlap this year, but the landowner felt the dirt would need at least another week to dry out.

The website can be found here: FCVAEC.org
The map to the event can be found here: http://www.zeemaps.c...1&y=41.6257&z=6 (use the blue marker)
Pictures of our past plow days:
2013 http://gardentractor...-plow-day-2013/
2012 pictures lost.

Our poster can be found here: http://fcvaec.org/in...le/view/15/1/1/

This is our 17th year, the day is always fun, and the thresherman's lunch is wonderful.
The location is shown well on the map, but here is the Lat and Long for the location. O would give the address, but the Landowner has informed us that there is no GPS system that he knows of that gets it right.

If anyone has any questions, please reply or PM me.

Thanks Alan. I am planning to be there for sure, to at least pick on your son, Ryan for not centering his tire in the furrow LOL.

He was trash talking you too today. Loran was cutting a cake. It was the crookedest cut lines I've ever seen.
Ryan said "Hey, that looks like a Casey furrow". I lost it.

Hey, in life there are leaders and followers, and I didn't see anyone in front of me, but several behind me so, we made do with my furrow. :p

I'm planning on being there.

I'll bring along a piece of re-bar, and some hose clamps. Maybe

we can keep Casey in the straight and narrow. :smilewink:

I'm hoping that this doesn't become a recurring problem for me this year, but I won't be able to attend. I have already posted my scheduling dilemma with the Pa Plow Day. George and I have been at the French Creek Plow Day several years and two years ago Linda and I made it a getaway weekend and had a great time. The club does a very good job with the  covered dish lunch. Linda always sends along some of her homemade macaroni salad. This year on May 3rd I will be at my youngest sister's wedding. Family first as they say. Maybe I can convince her to elope. Just a thought.

Wishing everyone well and sure hope you have good weather and enjoy the new location.

Drat! :mad2:

I would have really liked to have come to this, but I already committed to the WPGTA Play day.

Dang, dang, and double dang

I think they are only 45 minutes away from each other.

So, maybe an hour, if you take a few shortcuts through some fields.

Just strap 5 gallons of gas to the 3pt. :D

It would be nice to see you again.
