You're shaving the cows utters?

That's, well, that's just disturbing. :smilewink:

But then, maybe that's how it was discovered that a warm glass of milk

before bedtime helps you sleep.

Well, keeping the longer hair off the udders helps keep the cows cleaner & the cleaner the udder, the cleaner the milk.   Now with Willie, it's the other way around....the hair strains his food intake & helps keeps unwanted out of his digestive system.  With cows, the hair does the opposite...harbors unwanted cruds & pathogens which may find their way into the milker & into your milk supply.

But Will, if keeping your milk cleaner disturbs you, then us dairymen can save lots of time & forego all this extra work.  :smilewink:

I'll get in touch with the  Canadian dairies right away!  :rolling:

And by the way, I did in the past use a large electric clipper to do the cows, and lets just say it was disturbing to me.....reading DANGEROUS!

But Willie surely won't kick like the cows do, so the electric clippers should work just fine. :D

No one seems too worried about the squirrels that will soon be homeless.

Willie already reminds me of my SIL in many ways. I think the shave will seal it.

I'm only happy to help someone get his tractor that was happy to help me get one of mine. Oh, and the Mr. Clean look doesn't hurt the deal either. :D

Don't care much either about the hair part. Anxious to see Will get his dream tractor & was glad to help. Will that bucket would make a good junk mover arounder. Excited to see the pics. You are going to add this to your daily adventure thread aren't you. I have to admit I'm still behind so I'll have to catch up.
