That's great news, Willie! Now, maybe, you'll leave mine alone! :bigrofl:

I like the attachments you are getting with it, especially the rear bucket & tool bar. I'll need pics of them, you know!

Just so you know Willie I would've gladly donated but...Well, you've said some nasty things about Fords, lol.

I'm actually kidding, the real reason I didn't is that I'm as broke as you thanks to a broken truck preventing me from working (I know what you're thinking, it's a Ford; but this time it isn't the engineers fault, it's mine. Some of the fabricated stuff I had on the truck starting showing it's age so I had to do some rehab work)

The attachments are the only reason it is worth as much.

Well if you didn't drive a Ford...

To tell you the truth all I ever really expected when I saw this thread started was a good laugh and someone else owning the tractor (and me keeping my hair).

I really want to make it one day.

And there is a pile of hair on the ground. Don't forget that.

Will a HazMat team be necessary?

Well if you didn't drive a Ford...

Oh how I wish I could blame this one on Ford, I might rest easier at night if it wasn't my own fault.

The truck rides on a custom built, full air suspension like a semi and after 2 years (200k miles plus on our fabulous northern roads) any and all inadequacies in my original design have reared their ugly heads. The only consolation is that I caught it while at home before any catastrophic failures out on the road. Oh well, live and learn.

If it's any consolation: as a fellow bearded man I would've donated without the shaving stipulation. I know how heart breaking it would be to lose my beard! And yes, even for a tractor.

I'm in for 20. Don't let a little rain stop you. What happened with the guy that was supposed to pick it up today?

the other guy backed out. The seller and I have a verbal agreement to pick it up Monday afternoon. It worked out better for both of us. We both don't want to mess around in the rain today - especially not if I have to drive 2.5 hours in it, and we both have something to do tomorrow so Monday is the best time.
