Blue Mountain Antique Gas & Steam Engine Ass. "Annual Snow Show" Jan. 15 2011
Snow this week and cold weather kept the show's size smaller then other years I've been to. The homemade hobo stew was great .The bonfire was a good spot to warm up, Everyone there had a good time.
cool, i went up there one day last year and brought home a truckload full of stuff, do you know when they will have the lawn and garden tractor stuff this year? I think its in spring but im not sure
Thank for the pictures..How were the prices..?? I'm sure it was a great time..Did you see the Cabin Fever show Auction prices from today...The 2hp Springfield went for $67.200 ..OMG!!!...
Thanks for the great pictures and a reminder that just because it's winter, you can still have outside activities with the old machines. If the big chair can be moved a safe distance from the bonfire, I could see myself sitting there. Sure sounds like you had a wonderful day. Thank you for sharing with us.
I didn't really check the prices on everything , but what I did look at wasn't that bad. The Clinton and Briggs where both running $45 & $50 ea. Is that a decent price?
Thanks for the pictures, glad you got to go. Looked cold but at least it was sunny.
price for the Briggs [looked to be a late 5S with recoil start] and Clinton a bit high, but if they were running ..... maybe, and if they didn't want to take'em home they might listen to an offer..... of 35.00 or so. Gets me thinking spring and engine show season!!!!
P.
Thanks for the pics.
Brian, I believe the carb is on a swivel joint. That allows you to turn it sideways as you turn the saw over.
Miserable design, but at least you could do it if you wanted / had to.
Thanks for posting that, i went to the one last july and was told the one in spring is way bigger, i couldnt see how much bigger it could get though becasue in july it was huge. Im definitely marking may on my calander, nice pics too by the way!!!!!
