Is a Sears FF really worth $800? What's so special about them? I'm honestly just wondering why everyone's so in love with it I don't really know anything about them. Other then they were the biggest garden tractor Sears made correct?

I believe the FF24 was the biggest badest of the all, but that 18 is one heck of a tractor. They were built to compete against the JD 400 and they did.

Last time I did something really stupid I married my ex. :wallbanging: :wallbanging: :wallbanging: :wallbanging: :wallbanging: :wallbanging: :wallbanging: :wallbanging: :wallbanging:

In my line of work, I have heard some pretty stupid things, but marrying an ex has to be near the top.

Very cool tractor. this one is not the biggest but big enough to do the job. Look at all the attachments that come with the tractor, so I think its worth the money, plus the guy will work with the price.

Truth be known ... all of those Large/Super GTs were built to compete with the big Bolens twin cylinders.

Bolens started it all in 1971 with the 1886, the first of the "Super GT's" although no one called them that until Cub Cadet coined the term many years later.
