Tom needs your prayers again. He has double pneumonia and is too weak to get Chemo. He has been in the hospital for several days. I posted this last summer:

The Church, I am a member of, has a Church Garden. It started about four years ago and I've been involved from the beginning. I only live 3/4 of a mile from it so I just drive the GT's there. All of the produce we grow is donated to the local food shelf. The program has been successful so far.

This year we have had some challenges. Our Master Gardener's health has gotten to the point that he can no longer help. Tom has been fighting Leukemia. Please pray for him! Anyway we have been real light with help and I am hoping that will change. Last year it was so dry that watering was a big chore. The garden is almost the size of a football field. The work maybe hard at times but it is certainly worth it!

Tom is determined to plant this spring. Last year we brought in 3000 pounds of produce. Tom is the most giving person I have ever known. But he is fighting for his life.

Prayers for Tom.  Just the fact that he leads a project like this says volumes about the person he is.  May God grant him comfort and healing and may God be with the folks who keep this worth while ministry going.  It's a great thing you folks are doing in a time when so many are going hungry.
