I looked into the Cub Cadet lead, and it appears that the clutch has a 1" bore.  The Kawasaki website clearly says 25MM bore for that engine.  Is it possible that Kaw puts a 1" shaft in some, 25mm in others?  I think the only way is to take a dial caliper to the engine and see once and for all.  If indeed it IS a 25mm shaft, how comfortable with any of you be with installing a bushing to make up the difference?  It would essentially by a piece of appropriate thickness shim stock, single layer, wrapped around the shaft.

All FR651V engines should be the same, I would think.  If Kaw did put two different shaft's in that engine then they should state that in the spec's.  I think that cub clutch will fit. Take the caliper and check your engine.
