Tricky business cutting down big heavy trees. I have cut some trees, but always nervous about where they are going to go. Always have plan to get away. Good thing nobody was hurt. Noel

I had always lived assuming that I could lie a big oak down exactly where I wanted it. This was a very humbling experience.

As for now it'll be this. I have a feeling it'll leave soon.

Me too, but those big ones have a mind of their own!

I mow with a Craftsman pro series Z-turn, 44" 19 h.p., but i just mow 1.5 acres, so it's plenty, plus it gets between trees and stumps. My 54" was just too big.

My main mowers are a John Deere 430 (5 foot cut), and a couple John Deere F935 front mowers (6 foot cut).  No pic handy of the 935's.

Cub Cadet 1315 with a 38" deck. Have a deck for one of the B10s that will try this summer, but that's just for fun.

It just came to me--- this is a pretty nice way for us all to see some of that nice green stuff again--- I believe it's called grass,  lol.

My little Cub Cadet 1330 LT. or either the 782 or 1650, depends on the mood or how fast I want to get done.

I usually alternate each year to give some of the tractors that just sit around something to do :D

Haven't decided which 2 to pick yet as the designated mowing machine for 2014
