As a traditional thing here in heaven (Iowa), we plow the 1st day of spring if we can. Most yrs I can get away with it. So tonite after work I fired up a trusty DB, model 99, plow about 5 rounds. Would have done more but I had a bunch of other stuff to get done, so this was good enough for today. Ground was prefect and you can see the nice straight, completely turned furrows, at almost 6" deep. Eat your hearts out ride-on guys.

Just kidding I like them all.

Nice job!  Looks real good.    Jealous. Still have about 6' piles of snow and 1' of snow on the ground right now. 4" - to 6" of snow expected tomorrow night.

Roger.

Me too !! no grass yet, snowed a little today, ice last night, ways to go,...

Once the plow is dialed in with a good share point it will lay over a furrow in one continual strip and you got that down to a T

Seeing you plow fresh sod, i can almost smell it from here, spring is almost here. Many thanks for the pictures.

Thanks for that nice glimpse of Spring.

I'm with everyone else.  We still have snow here.  I might go to camp and ice fish this weekend.

Well I am a plowman, and  plow with my walkers when ever I get the chance. Some times I plow with one of my suburbans, but I decided to see how many walkers I can use this yr. More to come, hopefully.

Not too many too fast please. You've got to take us through this winter withdrawal

slowly. :D

Nice job   I can only hope that the repair I did on the DB's plow beam last year helps me come somewhere close to what you did :worshippy1:

Best looking pictures of the day right there.   I love the sound of an old machine dragging a plow through the dirt.

Surprized to see you can plow down there!  I have not even taken a spade out in the garden to see if the frost is out.

Have not gotten any rain to speak of so figured it was still frosty. Did not plan to try any tillage for ANOTHER WEEK OR SO.
