Hello All,

I am new here and my father just bought a 2418, I think. It is definately sure of the 18, it's on the hood. He has all of the parts, except the dash board and the motor. I don't know the serial number as the dash board is missing. The tractor is in very good shape, I think. I was wondering how hard it is to get parts for one of these? We live in Canada, I don't know how many of these were sold up here. Will a new Kohler motor fit in one of these tractors? It doesn't have a FEL, is it possible to fit a new one to it?

Thank you in advance for your help.

First welcome to GTtalk. I think you should be able to find parts, I don't know how easily though. I don't have any Power King / Economy tractors so I haven't searched for parts for them. The only downside with being in Canada is going to be the shipping if there are not too many parts available up your way.

Depending on fabrication skills anything is possible. Do you have pics or more details on the engine that is in it now? There are some Power King / Economy guys on here that should be able to help you out more.

:wave::welcome:
My 2418 has the serial # on the grille as well as the dash. I have no idea if all did - but you might look between the headlights for another serial tag. Try to find a K-341 Kohler 16 horse engine for the tractor. That will be a better engine than the original 18horse K-361, and much easier to find a good one. Good Luck!! :wave:

Welcome to the forum. You should be able to find what you need to get the Power King up and moving again. Pictures of what you have would help us steer you toward
the right pieces to complete the tractor.
