Nice little tractor and plow!

Not so little compared to a GT!  That's in nice shape. Do you use it on a regular basis?

yes, it was used to plow snow this winter which we had a lot off and not over yet. Have a rear blade for it. I use it in the Dundas Plowing Match also. Brian, your uncle would know about the plow match maybe. Noel

Is it a TE20 (English version) or a TO20 (Americas version)?  I've heard of quite a few TE20s marching over here through the years, I was just curious.

It's a tea20. English tractor. Standard motor company built the engine. Te20 tractor had a continental engine. Flat head. The standard engine is over head valve. Te20 tractors were built 1946 to 1948. Tea20 tractors were built 1948 to 1956 I believe. I would have go read information again to be sure. Tea20 tractor engine, from 1948 to 1951 had a 80 mm bore, then in 1951 and on it was an 85 mm bore. The tractor I have is a 1951, and going by the serial number it is a 85 mm bore engine. Noel

I just happend to have a thread about this model too. Actually its about a logo that mine is missing to be fully restored. It's also a TEA 20-85but 1952. The Canadian version had a logo on the side of the front grill that read ''twenty 85''. Im looking high and low for a good pic of this logo to have it reproduced.

Oh. I have never seen one. I read your other tread. Very interesting. Could it be that it was on a brochure that was advertising the Ferguson 20 85. Not a decal on the tractor. Just a thought. Noel

Very interesting. So would all Canadian tea20's have that on them? Would there be certain serial numbers for Canadian tractors?

The way I understand it; the original Caniadian TEA20's with the Standard Engine had an size "80" engine. Then they upped them to an "85".
Not even all of the 85's had the decal from what I understand.
