Does anyone have a picture of a HD air cleaner on a 140? How it is connected to the carb? Any other info on this topic is good also. Thanks

The HD air cleaner worked on the square fender 110/112/120/140 machines.  The same basic canister assembly was used on ??? brand golf carts too.  Hapcoparts.com makes the adapter to bolt it to the Kohler carb if you don't want to fab up the piece.  Here is a thread on WFM that talks about details.  http://www.weekendfr...html?1392291885

I plan on doing one on my 312 because I can.  :smilewink:

Kinda wierd but I was thinking of putting the same concept on a C160 wheel horse. I've always been an original restorer but I have 1 wh that is a custom worker. This would be a great add on for it. Already has a JD front axle with 1" spindles instead of factory 3/4".  Thank you for the links, very helpful.

I like to restore to originals but am also a "resto-mod" guy from the muscle car world.  I am not afraid to add things that improve usability or functionality.  You might appreciate some of the changes I made to my 120 when I rebuilt it.  The 312 will get similar treatment.  Both 110's will get stock restorations as one was purchased new by my grandfather and the other is a very early '68 side tag.

If that setup was available on a stock JD you should be able to find parts diagrams on JDParts.com. It seem to me that I remember seeing it somewhere.
