Hey everyone I have a friend trying to sell me a jd 300 and 65 jd 110 round fender both with tillers. The 300 need motor rebuild. the friend was going to redo the 65 110 but has no time. so he texted me I went to his house to look at both tractor and both tillers. He's asking $100 for the round fender and $200 for the 300. So he asking $300 for bot Is that a good price? The 300 motor is in pieces and so the round fender.

I'd say...yes.  If it's in good shape, the tiller for the 300 is worth the price of both alone.

$300.00 could be spent in countless worse ways. If my sons were to have asked me the same question I'd have given them  a bit towards them. I'd say have at'em.

Sounds good to me. Both those tractors are models that are in demand and bring good money when they are in decent shape.

If they are something you want and will enjoy, ' gopher it '

Two sons come to there father & say " The neighbor is selling his car. He wants $100.  Can we buy it?"  Dads says, no.  10 years go by & the same kids go back their father & say the same neighbor is selling the same car for $200.  Dad says yes.  The kids ask why he changed his mind.  Dad says, "I didn't have $100 ten years ago."

$300 is a good price, if you don't have to do something dishonest to get it.

Kevin, you're not that far from me, so if it don't work out for you to get them, let me know. I'll buy them at that price, especially the round fender and tiller! Don't really care what shape they're in.

I also would jump on them for that price.  The 300 would be my choice for the tiller

I remeber that story well!! But Dad Found the Car? It was a 55 Studebaker Champion Coupe that had been through an engine wireing fire.  Bought for $25.00.

Brother and I (He was 16 and I was 14) pooled our savings and replaced each wire one at a time. He would pull on a wire under the hood and I would find where it went in the fuse box Then we would replace it.
