Just picked this up today! :dancingbanana:

"BOLENS HT23"

I found this at a friends house in the weeds, finally talked to him about it and he sold it to me for $50 :dancingbanana:

It was running when it was parked several years ago, I guess he parked it because he broke the belt on the deck and then could not find another.

I haven't checked the engine yet to see if it's stuck, but it probably isn't.

Everything seems to be in good shape, I have the belt covers for the deck, I'm guessing the deck is 54", the sheet metal is real strait and I haven't noticed any dents or tares.

Hoping to get it going for mowing this summer.

Anyone know where to get a belt?

THANKS

He even had a tractor with loader to help load, we chained to it and lifted it right onto the trailer!.

I can't wait to get it going :D

I'll get better pictures when it's light out

I'll get more pictures later today, going to try and get it running today.

Anyone know how long of a belt for the deck?
The guy I got it from said he was thinking it was around 105 inches, but not sure.

Thanks

Were there any sirens in the distance as you lugged it home! A real steal for sure. Congrats on getting a great tractor. You owe your friend big time!

Well, I hate to break it to you like this, but that tractor's completely worthless without the belt... doesn't have anything to run the maniform flux capacitor... I'll take it off your hands for $75, just so you won't be out any...... (and so I can have a twin for mine!!!!!!)

Good find... great tractors...

Check out the manuals section.  I also have several manuals for my Bolens HT23, but no deck, so I'm not sure if I have something that will tell me belt size or not... I'll have to check when I get home...

If the deck model you have is an 18110, it takes a 1/2" x 146" belt. Some interchange lists say 144", but I am going by the Bolens parts list. I recommend the Kevlar belts for more positive drive on the blades.

Bolens part# on the 54'' deck belt was 1725502 if you want to use that to look on ebay, online ect.

Like Doug mentioned above, get the kevlar and stay away from the "Economy" belts
