I've been looking for a Zero Turn for a few weeks now. Yesterday I found a Bobcat ZT 125 (?). I am not really sure what it is really. It says Bobcat Textron on the back of the seat. The Plate with the Model and Serial is a Ransomes tag. I'm basically just wondering if someone can give me a basic information about this and a way to figure out what year it is.

It has a 25 hp Horizontal Shaft Kohler Command engine. Pumps and motor for each wheel. Timed deck.

Model number is 954203

It's a ZT100 instead of a ZT125. Does anyone know anything about those?

Did you find anything about Ransomes making these mowers? How to look up the year of these mowers?

Mine is a 2001 it is green and the grass handler is grey along with a clear fuel tank. I've got about 1100 hrs on it now and no problems just a couple of pto of belts

I had this mower 2.5 years ago. I have to say it's a very good mower. I made the mistake of putting to much oil in it and after that I never got it back right again. When I  filled it up to much oil (1/4 qt) it started shooting up the crankcase breather tube. When the oil comes up the crankcase breather tube it shoots right into the carb. After I got it straightened out I got rid of it. Now I have a Bobcat ZT125. I actually sold my Ferris IS700 with only 47 hours on it after purchasing the ZT125. The first ZT100 had a 18 hp motor. My ZT 125 has a 25 hp. My ZT 125 has the bagger unit and it does a excellent job. I had a Kubota G1800 with a bagging unit and the bobcat out performs it. The Bobcat ZT125 is probably the worst riding but best cutting machine I've ever owned. I think that's true because I've never owned a walker. My Ferris IS 700 was the smoothest riding machine I've ever been on.
