Hey everyone , finally gettin around to workin on my 100. I was wondering if anone in here might have a old pan seat layin around somwhere they might want to part with. Now i know you gs are gonna say check ebayaqqnd all the other sites out there for one but i thought what the heck, i'll ask on here and see what happens. I know everyone in the world just about wants one. haha I know the chances are slim but all i can do is ask. never know. It took me a good while to get a 100 so it wont kill me to wait ona seat. thanks for reading this. Also wouldnt mind pickin up a 12hp kohler. it could be a bare block i dont mind.

I won't tell ya to check ebay or anything but you might want to check tractor supply. I know it won't be a direct bolt on and would take a little modifying but here is one on their site for $39.95 Tractor Replacement Metal Seat - 0237681 | Tractor Supply Company

Watch Tractor Supply seats, they are big tractor oriented, so some measure too big for garden tractors.

Yes I do agree, gotta make sure it would look appropriate on the gt. The one I linked to is for a Ford 2n/8n.

I looked at that one for a GT last year and decided it wouldn't work (too big).

Most pan seats are designed for the average size of the occupant - not the item its bolted to. :laughingteeth:

Thanks NUTNDUN , actually my cub has a seat very similar to that one at Tractor Supply. Doesnt looklikeit hadbeen modified to fit either. Fits perfect, but i would like to eentually pick up a original seat for it. I'm far from needing the seat antime soon. I just not got my frame sanded down and primed. That was a job, it had probably 5 coats a paint on it. so far it looks prety good. its not gonna be perfect , but i can say its turning out pretty good
