For the second time this winter a storm missed us in CT. Unfortunately, south of us are getting hit pretty hard. It'll be spring by the weekend. I hope mother nature pays attention. Good Luck, Rick

Gee, Rick. Sorry to hear of the bad luck missing those storms. Hope mother nature pays attention and gives you one more good one before spring.     :smilewink:

Sorry you are missing the moisture. We have been very dry this winter. Sounds like tomorrow that will change with a winter storm expected here.

I've still got plenty of ice in shaded areas. On the north side of the house its over a foot thick. I think we got hit with 19 storms, that is enough. It is a shame that our excess can't get to the drought areas that could really use it. This crazy weather is going to hit us all in the wallet with food and fuel prices rising. Good Luck, Rick

I left home at 6AM.  Nice clear sky, 35 degrees.  Started driving back to work, 120 mile trip about 90 miles of it down I ran into a line of snow.  It was like someone turn a switch.  Dry roads, wet roads, then snow covered!  Took me an hour to do the last 30 miles of my trip.  3 hour trip instead of 2.

6 to 8 inches of snow here.  Hard to believe that little bit of a distance such a drastic change in the weather!

Supposed to warm up to mid 40s today, but its 12:50 and only mid 30s don't think we will see much higher today.  Supposed to be 50s tomorrow and clear the rest of the week.

kinda glad we got missed, now if we could warm up and stay there. I could get out back to my tractors. I have at least 6"-8"of snow across all the back yard still. Tom

Glad to hear some one got a bit of a break this winter.  It certainly has been a rough one for sure.

WE got 2 rain storms last week so a lot of the snow is gone. I just took a walk on my trails and there is maybe 6" to a foot left in the woods. More rain scheduled for Thursday but right now it's much colder than normal here.
