I would of sworn there was a blue tarp on the wall.

Just ran into this and found it very interesting. Your photos are very good and your work is even better. Your going to have a wonderful home when it's finished.

This may sound funny but I really like those older houses but have no desire to own one, I think it's because I'm too lazy. When I walk into one of them it must be the smells, sounds, or something but they feel like a home. The newer houses don't have the "warm you are home" feeling to me.

Thanks for letting us look over your shoulder as you work.

The laundry room is painted with two coats of Benjamin Moore Seaport Blue, and the inside of the bi-fold door opening is all trimmed out. Got the baseboard painted with two coats of white and installed as well. Tomorrow I have a little caulking to do, need to grout the flooring, and then install the decorative trim piece that I made for the boring light fixture. I also want to change out the receptacle and light switch for white ones, rather than the ivory ones that I have installed now. Hopefully by tomorrow night I'll have the washer and dryer back in place, and will be able to call the room finished, at least my part of it anyhow. Kathy wants to get some decorative shelf brackets for the shelving I made her, and a wall decal for the main wall. To me it's just a laundry room, but to her it's something special. Not sure why it's special to her, but I just keep my mouth shut, as I'm pretty sure she looks at my tractor collection the same way I do her laundry room!
