Guys, Springfield Illinois Craigslist Lawn and Garden listed under Riding Lawn Mower $400 (Girard).  My sheds full but thought one of you might find worthy of you.  Don't know how to move stuff over here from craigslist.

Duals on a 7 seems kinda risky. It has a Peerless 1200 rear end which is not rated for ground engagement and is meant for lawn tractor duty. More of a show piece than a worker I guess.

If you keep scrolling to last Thursday on the same Craiglist someone has a Massey 8 listed for $325.  Suddenly Massey are popping up for Spring!

gtcsreg, to show a craigslist address, copy the address from the top of the page and paste it into your message.

I'll tell ya'll this right now, if a Massey crops up near me it has my name on it.  :D

I'm working on a Massey 14 right now for a customer.  It was parked for years for assumingly no reason.  I got it going, new carburetor kit and ignition kit later, and then I realized why.  I had to shut it down quick, there was a funny knock in it.

It wasn't funny when I split the engine.

1/2 the piston skirt was blown up.  From the wrist pin to the oil control ring.  Pieces were everywhere in the oil pan.

Anyway.

I like that old tractor.  I'd love to have one.

Kinda risky, but if you allow $150 - $200 for the dually kit and spare tires, it is one cheap MF7!

Copied the line in grey and it won't let me paste.  Is this the address you were talking about?
