Ray, It is hard to tell, FMC had there hands in a lot of things. Bolens, fire trucks (John Bean)food
processing equipment. I do know that the fire trucks had raised cast logos,chromed...may be what they
are for,I do not know. Shawn

Being that small it could have been the start of a promo item for customers or award for employees, tie clip-key chain ect.

Lots of companys used to do things like that.

Just my guess.

It was pinned to a small item alright, maybe a miniature version of a piece of machinery. If you could figure out what the item is surrounding the letters that would be helpful, it could be a bean pump sprayer.

It's next to impossible to guess what that could have went on, with FMC into so many things over the years it could be just about anything!

What you are calling a casting sprue looks like a 3 cylinder exhaust manifold and the fMC logo is simulating being a motor. As far what it is for? That's the million dollar question. Good luck.
