how do i find out the horse power on a cub cadet block?

If its a Kohler, you can go by what's on the sticker with the engine model.

how do i find out the horse power on a cub cadet block?

measure the bore I think the the 16hp is 3.75", 14hp is 3.25", 12hp is 3.00", and the 10hp 2.50"

3.251 x 2.875 3.375 x 3.250 3.500 x 3.250 3.750 x 3.250

       10hp              12hp              14hp              16hp

Look on the block on the crankshaft side.  The K model is cast into the block there... K241=10hp, K301=12hp, K321=14hp, K341=16hp  Only a few 10hp blocks were actually marked as 12hp as in the pic below.
