Will you be making enough headway on the bumper today, so we can see some

pictures?

No time for any personal tractor stuff today.  May be quite a while.  My go-power is kinda low with family issues that got worse this morning.  My Mom is 87, and apparently her mind is starting to slip badly.  Gotta tend to the important stuff.

Sorry to hear that Dan. I know what you're going through. My dad, and MIL

are in the same situation. Life is not fair. That's no reward for getting old.

All the best to your mom, and buddy.

Hang in there friend. Prayers and patience along with your friends will get you through.

Here's hoping that things improve in the near future.

Mom is still at my sister's and still erratic and acting strange.  Not sure what we'll have to do, but something has to be done.  She must see a doctor soon to be evaluated.

Anyway, I spent a little shop therapy time, and got some done to the bumper/headlight.  Below it's just sitting on blocks to give an idea what it will look like.  Just a simple piece of channel iron, and not sure if I'll add anything erlse to it.  May just keep it simple.

Here's how headlights are mounted.  The lights can swivel up & down.

I thought I took a pic after having it all bolted up to the tractor, but I didn't.  Here it is clamped with vise grips and mounting holes drilled.

Dad called & we spoke for a while, and I lost my ambitions to do any more work, so I came in to make this post.

Will the lighted bumper pass so far Will?  BTW....these are 50 watt quarts halogen lights.

That is a good way to mount them, Daniel. Well protected along with the horns.

I'm glad your buddy got to come home. I'm sure that helps the stress level a bit.

Dan, get as much shop time in as you can, to try to get your mind

off matters. I hope things get better with your mother.

Lights look real good in that honkin bumper.

How about a couple hefty tow hooks?

Not in the plan Will.  The way I had to work around the radiator mounts & all, I don't want to put major stresses out front.  I will not mount any weights on the bumper because of this either.  It's plenty strong for the bumper, but that's about it.
