Looking good!

Maybe I'll get to see it at the plow day.

That would be great if we can both make it! Just 252 miles for you! Almost exactly half that for me at 124 miles.

Getting the JB Diesel "Boss Hog" ready for Vevay plow day on the 16th. The NOS hydro & differential seem fine, but wanted to test her out. So took to the field with the 2 bottom double 10" plow. It pulled mighty hard in our tough soils, but mainly because this is a single speed differential & gearing is just too high for a seriously hard pull. So I dropped the one plow & went single 10"......and it'll walk the dog! I just leave it full speed at the hydro & adjust speed with the throttle. What I need now is a single 12" plow. I also shot some primer on her to make it not as redneck for plow day. Here's a video starting with the 2-bottom, then me with the single, then meangreen on the last of the video. Fred likes to video his fingers! LOL At least his nails are clean!
Watch Fred (look for the green hat) in the last of the video when he opens the throttle. This beast doesn't know a 10" plow is even back there!

Now that is high speed plowing Daniel. The old girl just really gets out and goes with the one bottom on it. Great job on a fantastic tractor. That is also a pretty fancy video you produced there!

Also, while I had some money left in my Paypal account, I ordered a complete paint kit for the JB Diesel. It's a bright RED! I'm not set on it yet, but thinking of the entire tractor in red, with white wheels and the hood decals being black text with white background. Here's the paint kit:

Next, I'm saving up for these:

Thats a great looking plow machine there. I did not realize just how big the JBI is. That thing is a beast. It looks almost as big as a MF 1010.

I hope you are going to pull the double plow at the plow day just to slow you down so you won't be lapping me.

It's awesome how easy it pulls that single plow.

Sorry Chuck, coming single. In fact, I ground off the welds & removed the sleeve portion off the toolbar permanently for the 2nd bottom. Just no sense stressing anything to pull the 2 bottom, plus it cuts my seat time in half.....well, not if I pull a single at full throttle! LOL
Also, some of you guys may have caused me to choose another name for this tractor. After a few comments mad by posts & by email, I may just name it "The Beast"!

Daniel, If you pull that plow any faster, you won't have any dirt left in the furrow. Wow, that's impressive !!!!

I hope you have a loud horn, maybe from a locomotive, so everybody can have time to get out of the way..:bigrofl:
