I decided to paint one of my Choremasters as a tribute to the John Deere Line of Garden Tractors. Here are a few pics of the work in progress. :D  I will be building a sulky to go with it when time permits.

What were the OE colors?

I don't really know what the oe colors were. mostly bare aluminum on the bottom part. I have seen the handles in all colors. The one pictured here is the first one that I did. The second one was done in Farmall Red.(I will take some pics of it soon.) The John Deere is the third redo. I have two more in the basement that I will be redoing and painting to match Tractors. :D

John Deere has their brand on everything these days... even Choremasters.  :poke:

 

It actually looks like it will turn out nice.  I'm interested to see what it looks like when it is done.

What were the OE colors?

Hunter green, same as the Clinton engines, gearbox/frame was left bear.

Handles were usually galvanized but the later ones had painted handle bars.

Wheel rim painted green.
