Just now got caught up. Bummer on the angle in the box, you were making such good headway too.
Don't let it slow you down...

Today wasn't a good day. I did some math and Things didn't work out to good. I almost scraped the hole thing. When I did my drive line there was some thing wrong. And I found it. But now to keep it going I have to build a new drop box. Some one machined the drop box on an angle. The drive shaft wasn't level with tran . I couldn't get the engine any lower. so the more I looked at it I have to shorten the drop box by .750 so my drive shaft is straight. Ill start on that Monday. I wanted to get motor plate mounts welded in but I cant till this is done now. If its not right on the money I wont build i

What way was the shaft running off ? Some trans are set in at an angle upwards and the motor tipped back to true them up and not have a bind.  Was the plate true in the old frame ?

I wish it was like that. They had to do it in the old frame because nothing was straight. It was binding on the shaft. I got it worked out now. I just found a nice block of aluminum to make it out of. I will post pictures of that too.  Duane you coming out next week?

I'm sorry to hear about your set back Chris, but don't you dare scrape all that work you did. Theres a reason for everything, we just don't see it until later on. You'll figure it all out in time man.  Nothing in life is perfect, but your work is damn close.  Keep it coming Chris.   Glenn

Are you joking or what? I can't speak for everyone, but I like your posts. Its cool to watch you take a block of metal and turn it into something. I'm learning  from your pictures and stuff.   So you keep up the posts, plus this is your build anyways.  Start to finish, keep it coming Chris
