The rack is made for a Jr Dragster. im working on the side panels but I am working the hood more to make it look longer. and lower.

some new pics, its a roller now. got brake lever done, tie rods and fitting the sheet metal before its made in to carbon fiber. Im trying some new wheels not sure if I like them.

Heres some detailed pictures of the steering rack with control arms, Because I mounted rack so that the shaft is under motor plate the only way I could get it passed the engine. The rack steers backwards so to make it steer right I had to make a drop reversing box, This helps with shaft support, makes the angle of the u joints  better. and reverses  direction of the rack. I had an old oil pump that I took the gears out of cut one in half machined the shafts for them. next I machined a box with needle bearings pressed in.

After getting the case bolted together. I lightened it up some , you can see in pictures where its going to mount. It works great no play in the wheel at all.

Im starting to work on my engine block. I machined the flanges of intake and exhaust. Now im boring out the block for the 4.125 piston. I will get to do intake port next.
