Jc Madigan truck equipment. Sponsor my tractor pulling. John one of the owners has been very good to me. I stopped up to there place Wednesday and asked if he could bend me up some .125 steel frame rails 5 inch channel with 1 inch legs. John just has his guy stop and do it for me. anyway that the start of this project.
Now start making some cuts , I set it up in the Bridgeport , This project is going to machined a lot. drilled holes.
make up some double's for support and weld them in.
Ok set the tran in the rails. I will use that as a jig for welding. I got some cross members cut and aluminum engine plate. Next ill be making top mounts to tran.
The tube is going to be front axle, and check out the rack and pinon.
Cant wait to get into the shop today. I have a bunch of parts to make. Also working on my Panzer t75. I think front axle Ill be making that out of 4130 molly thin wall
Most of that stuff is way over my head, but from just looking at your work I can see you are gifted. Its cool to see your ideas come together. I'm glad you are taking good pictures and telling us what is happening in the pictures. Keep the pictures coming Chris and stay hydrated.

Coming along great chris :thumbs: cant wait to see it all together. I have one question though. Since you dropped your trans into the frame, are you going to be running straight gears to eliminate your top shaft? And are you running a drop box in front of your trans?
Very nice. Im thinking about getting a rack and pinion steering like what you have. Also want to get a drop box in the future but not sure if itll hold the torque or not
That's some really nice fab work your doing Chris what type tractor is it gona be when your done. Is it like those half pint style ones.
