I finally got some free time and messed with the SS16 some. It had no spark so I tried to clean the points and sort of managed to clean them. The points box is hard to get to and to have good access it's looking like I will need to pull the muffler off. After trying to clean the points I got some spark but it's intermittent and very weak. The points also need adjusted which is why I think the spark is intermittent. At this point I don't really feel like pulling the muffler and don't know what I'm going to do with the tractor now.

Nice looking GT. Is that a 1974 model with a Onan?

I will probably notice if it randomly goes missing one night. I see you found my secret defense with Google maps lol. Just kidding, Google maps does suck and you're not the first person coming to our house that has gone to the wrong house.

I was told that it was a 1973 model.

Nice looking ride!

I'm interested to learn the difference between your breaker location and points/condenser setup compared to what's on my SS/18 - I can't recall if it was the SS/18 manual or the Onan BG manual, or both, but I recall directions for two different configurations for my engine.  One looked like a major pain, and the one I have isn't so bad.
