Last 3 anyone know the difference between these and the 2317 or the limited slip differentials

Is anything destroyed?  I am always surprised what things look like after a trip through a solvent wash & e-tank.  Maybe all you'll need is new bearings & grease.

I guess i forgot a picture but this had a bout a gallon of water to a quart of oil i got it cleaned up today need to sand blast the gear because everthings rusted but a couple new bearings and seal itll be all  good

Wow, that's rusty.
Glad no permanent damage beyond the bearings.

I too would like to know what is in a 2317. Hope someone has a picture of one opened up.

Got my other trans axle apart and swapped one gear a bearing shifts like a champ!
