Grand, please let your Son and the rest of the family know we are pulling for success and speedy healing.

If that doesn't make him smile, tell him we said the facelift was a failure and we still think he looks like he went three rounds with Mike Tyson.

If I remembered what the other guy looked like I would tell ya, hopefully I put him in worse shape then me LOL.

I couldn't sleep anymore so sitting at the computer for a little bit and hopefully go back to bed here in a little bit. Don't want to get my schedule to out of whack. I am supposed to go back to work on Monday. Thankfully with working an office job it shouldn't be too bad other then not answering the phone for another week or so.

I don't know all of the details of what they did until we go to the follow up appointment in 9 days and also get the staples out. With my right ear that I already had a mastoidectomy done on when I was a kid they were planning on cleaning it up best they could and put a tube in. They found a small hole in the ear drum and held off putting a tube in. I don't know if they are going to try doing anything with it at a later date or not.

The left ear, the main reason behind the surgery was they thought I had closteotoma(have no idea how it is spelled) and were going to remove it and rebuild the ear canal and if they had time or were able to also rebuild the hearing bone since mine was eroded away. Thankfully I didn't have the closteotoma. They retracted my ear drum back to where it is supposed to be, rebuilt part of the ear canal to help keep it in place and also rebuilt the ear bone with a prosthesis.

I will have the fashionable head wrap on till Friday sometime then we can take it off, which it will be nice to see what it looks like. I don't remember having staples when they did the right ear but that was so long ago. Does feel like Tyson bit my ear off though LOL

Thanks for all the well wishes and will try and keep everyone updated. And on a side note we might have to do something about grand's picture posting privileges :D
