George has been experiencing hearing loss in both ears for the last several years. It had gotten to the point that he got really serious about finding a way to correct the problem. The local ENT ( ear nose and throat ) specialist that he went to actually suggested a doctor in Baltimore that specializes in only problems of the ear. After several tests he suggested a mastoidectomy on George's left ear and a check on his right ear. It turns out the right ear, which George had a mastoidectomy done when he was 10 years old, now has a perforated ear drum which will have to be repaired at a future date. The left ear was not a total success as the doctor found more problems than he expected and will do more surgery in the future. George hadn't posted anything about his surgery but it has been a rather nerve racking day for Linda and I waiting to find out the results of his surgery. Erica took George to and from his surgery and we were home to keep an eye on the grandkids. When the anesthesia wears off, George will probably hate that I took these pics, but this is what he looked like when he got home and we got him settled into a comfortable chair. As I said, it's been a trying day so this is all I will post tonight. Thank you everyone for checking on the post.
Here are two pics of George settled into the chair.
