Not real familiar with the Deere's.  Is this thing really as rare as he states?  Thank you.

They built 25,000 of them. Eliminate all the zeros off that number and I would consider it rare.

 

There are two JD GT's I would consider rare. A true 1963 RF and a 415.

It's the basic model that proceeded the 314. It has no engine side covers, 12hp instead of 14 and narrower rear wheels/tires. It's still a very solid GT with that nice heavy duty Dana rear axle.  If the tractor is low hours that price wouldn't be out of line here but you can't tell the condition from pictures.

I got my non-running 312 (one of the first 1500 made) for $250.  That looks to be a nice original machine and the price seems fair.  Uncommon? yes  

Rare?  not as rare as a 120
