I will probably use this snowblower and sell my older one that was used harder.
I am debating on keeping the cab.....once I mount it I will see if I like it and if it is worth putting on every year.
I also am going to sell the tube frame snow plow
I am tickled with this deal......both 1250s are cozy in the shed!

The colors are pretty close but I think the white isn't quite right. The guy told me the brown and white is actually rustoleum paint lol

How close is that to original in your expert opinion?
The canvas white would be pretty close for 67'-68'
If you would have asked me a few years ago I would have said the brown was a match but having more samples to go by and some NOS parts the brown is off. Bolens actually referred to the brown as "Cordovan" and there was metallic added to the paint on the earlier models.
I have seen some very close matches in auto paints but have not gotten any samples tested yet.
I would much rather see someone use the leather brown than go nuts with black, blue or red .....

I agree.....it makes me sad seeing black, blue, or red.

Nice 1250! With no good color information on the brown, Leather Brown might be as good as it gets for now. Canvas White is actually very close on the early 1250's.

I would agree on the leather brown, especially the later 60's models. I have a NOS part that looks very close to the leather brown when they took out the metallic
