44 hear today and sunny. Ground is showing fast thru snow, but is soggy!  Couple days next week gonna be snow days, but think not much, then 40's and 50's most of two weeks. Yeah!

Melt! Melt! Melt!   Course then floods start. Good thing I live on a high hill.  Every spring tho, I have to go down the road and recover the gravel from my drive which is up higher and drops fast. Makes quite a pile or two at bottom and half-way down. I'm afraid to pave, or the drive would be like a ski jump, right into the hill down past me and into neighbors yard!!

We made 55* today, some sun.  Like you said, "soggy", but I can live with that!  It was nice to be outside with just a light jacket.

I'm hoping to get to the farm Monday, first time in two months. Can't do much yet, but just want to go look around!  ~~  Lowell

We got up to just above freezing for a few hours today. With the sun it melted some fo the snow off of the roofs but not much else. I wish we could get into the 50's for a few days. Our long range forecast is barely squeaking up above freezing for the next 2 weeks.

Kinda wish it would thaw a bit faster.Atleast when it was bitter cold out my Bolens would walk on top of the snow. Now all it does is sink like a brick and get stuck lol.Still haven't got the mount on the plow welded up.

My yard is almost impossible to climb out of while there's wet snow on the ground. My neighbor is going to cut a driveway in for me in the spring, that should make life a bit easier. There is currently a 50-60 degree maybe steeper hill that I gota climb out over but it's only about 5 feet of incline. He's going to push the top off and bring a load of slate and throw down to help level it off some. Then it will be time for a shed upgrade so I can pull several GTs inside :dancingbanana: :dancingbanana: :dancingbanana:

We made it to 51* with lots of sunshine. Offically it was 44*. I had to pick up some Husqavarna parts up today and I told the wife I'm wearing my Detroit Tigers hat and no coat. Maybe I'll shame spring into comming.  Supposed to be in the upper 30s tomorrow.     Stay positive it's good for the mind and body.        Roger.

Kinda 'brisk' where I'm at today. Only got up to the high 50's.

Looking at the forecast though, it's going back to the mid to high 70's starting tomorrow.

Gotta love FL in the Winter  :D :D :D

Couldn't be positive, but I pretty sure I heard a Red Wing blackbird this morning!  They seldom show up before spring around here.  ~~  Lowell

Warm,, but snow still laying there, just smaller, ha!  Was supposed to have snow, but was VERY light and melted on touchdown. Yard is full of puddles, cause ground still frozen. EVen he little dog doesn't wanna go out in it much now that it is soggy and puddled! Warmer all this week!  Keep on coming!

It's been so cold here lately someone said they saw a politician with his hands in his own pockets! Sixties yesterday , and I got some things done. The forecast is more warm days for the next few days.

Finally might be seeing some spring. it was 0C (32f) at 6:00 AM this morning on its way to +5 (41f)

Supposed to stay about the same for a week or so, with maybe a few showers along the way.

Finally. it took its sweet arse time getting here.
