Weather man stated last night Ma has not seen a 2 below in Mach since 1948, this truly has been one of the coldest winters to date.

Very hard to work on small things with gloves.

With the wildly cold weather, a little hesitaint in dropping the snow thrower, not out of the woods yet.

20 and down all week, the warm up that was to come was blown out, still over a foot of snow on the ground.

I could not wait anymore.  Took the snowthrower  off last night, and even started summarizing it for storage.  Will leave the the blade on the other tractor for a week or so .  Tiller will wait for a week or so .  Got a few spring cleaning projects to do first.

Leaving on the blade is smart, from here on out for the most part any ''stuff'' we see will be slush/ice that would require the blade.

I finally got my potatoes in last weekend, but may have missed my chance on the lettuce and peas. It can get hot pretty early here. I am hoping that the hard freezes we have had will knock down some of the insects this year. Crazy thing is, it snowed after we planted the potatoes. We should be putting in the warm weather stuff in the next couple of weeks...maybe. Average last frost is 3/22.

Congrats on getting to the garden. That is awesome. At the current time my garden is still under 6 inches of snow. You can start sending warmer weather up north to Iowa anytime!
