I'd love to pick that up.  I texted him about it.  My youngest daughter really wants a Panzer.  The distance might be prohibitive though.  Going to need to think this through.

Am I right that they never came with a Kohler originally?  I saw one locally that had a Kohler in it, too.  Probably a repower but just want to be sure before I say something and make myself look dumber than I really am.  Which isn't hard to do.

I think the 8hp Kohler was OEM for the later Panzers, wasn't it?  Anyone else spot anything?  I am looking for something that's original, complete, and not hacked up.  Can't tell if the paint is original or not, but it looks decent.

Yes later model tractors had both Briggs and Kohlers.

I suspect this tractor to have original engine and paint.

The headlight were probably added. I do not know if they ever offered lights.

I did some digging and found that the 8hp Kohler was used on the T758es as standard equipment. Also the Grill of the T758es went though a couple changes in the early years.1963 through early February 1964 the grill had Panzer Cast into the grill so that would put that one After 1964.

The headlights look original to me.They're not bolted to the hood or Grill.I've seen a couple with the Dealer Optioned "Light Bar" and Rear tail light options. There is a Bar that attaches to the hood support under the hood that the lights bolt to.I'm guessing that it was the "Deluxe option" back in the day.Along with the Rear lift.

Here's a 1966 T758es with headlights and 8hp Kohler.

The headlight kit was option TA24 and was only available on the T-758es as the regular T-75 didn't have a generator.

Where do those dates come from?  I'm not saying they're wrong or anything, I'm just curious where the info comes from as I haven't seen it before.  Some of the later ones with only "Pennsylvania" cast in the grill had the "Panzer" part of it as a sticker where the old casting had been.  I have a sales brochure for the last year of the T-75 and it shows only "Pennsylvania" with no casting or sticker for "Panzer" at all.

That looks like a good deal. Wish it was closer and in my price range.

Well, it looks like I'm picking this up.  I spoke several times to the current owner and he worked with me on price and will hold it for me until next week when I'm on holidays (as luck would have it).  He pulled the ad this morning.  Just have to look at the calendar when I get home from work and figure out a day for the road trip and set it up.  Thanks, Titus, for offering to pick it up for me.  That's very kind of you.  Fortunately, he's not in a big hurry and I can pick it up next week.  Here's hoping it all works out.
