Restored John Deere 116 Garden Tractor - $1200 (304 State Street)

2.jpg 1.jpg

For sale is a completely restored and functional John Deere 116 garden tractor with 46" mower deck. This unit has a whole new fuel system including both fuel pumps and fuel line. Carburetor completely rebuilt. New engine oil seal on crank shaft. New battery, fuses, solenoid, and electric PTO switch. New drive belt and idler pulleys. Mower deck completely rebuilt with new bearings, belt, and pulleys. This unit is a real solid unit.

I even emailed this guy to ask him him if he was real, and if this was not a typo!!!!!!  LMFAO x10

All I could do was laugh at him, and told him his price was beyond "highway robbery".

Something in excellent condition or completely restored needs no other description.

Looks like it needs new tires and a paint job and likely a seat to be considered completely restored.

And mine has the twin briggs on it too. 16 HP.

Its people like this that make the word "Restore" have less of a meaning for those who actually do a true restoration

The thing looks pretty beat to me.

Replacing the fuel line and putting a cover on a seat is NOT a Restoration!!!! :wallbanging:

I really can't understand the high asking price for these older JD lawn tractors. They seem to be listed for almost as much as a 318 or other JD GT's. No thanks!

Way over priced, they sold one that may or may not have ran at a local auction last year for $40 with 3 different JD mower decks with it.  The good ones around here at the auctions sell for 2-300 at best.
