   power

   comfort

   Engine

   Etc. ???

I'll start----    I love hydros for their ease of driving.......  Attatchments ,,,,are many ...........I like wisconsin engines.........   My Bolens LG  is easy to get on and off,,,  My TF--1556 is not........  I like large wheels ,, It smothes out the ride on rough terrain

Ultimate gt, the best I have ever seen was a newer ariens maybe early 80's.  guy had it set up for pulling, not sure exactly how is was powered but it was 2 cyl and hydro drive, really nice machine.  great size super comfortable and you could but anything on it, had a small 3pt hitch with a pto, it has been a few years but I remember his name was art and he was big into the western mass tractor pullers.

By far that was the ultimate gt I have ever seen, super well made and it would run anything.  Sorry no pics

Avco New Idea EGT200 with all Factory Power driven and non Power driven Attachments for it.

with the largest Lithium battery pack that would fit in the factory battery boxes,

a Modern electronic Charger and Drive Motor Controller.

Best of the Old and New.

The ultimate GT I would buy would have, not necessarily in order of importance,

A real clutch, none of these belt tightening setups.

Horizontal shaft engine with real shaft drive.

Gear drive transmission with enough speeds to get the different jobs done... 4 spd with hi/low would be good.

Sturdy transmission and final drive to take fluid filled tires.

All steel hood and fenders.

Something in the line of a reliable Kohler K series with about 16hp.

Hydraulic implement lift.

I'm working on "my" ultimate GT, but I have had zero time to work on Hogzilla to get rear pto installed.  I have all the parts needed, now need to find the time. But I like most of us....we're GT nuts, and we'll never have the "ultimate GT" because we'll always see another feature we wish we had.  But we can try our best just the same!

Superben....Sounds like a Power King to Me!  Later model 80 to 84 of course.  They had it ALL right by then.

My ultimate GT would be one of the JD700 series with diesel, AWD and AWS.  The aws is awesome on those, turning a SCUT sized GT into a very maneuverable mower. On the other hand an SCUT is cheaper and has more features as standard equipment.  To make any choice useful you need to have all the attachments to get things done.
