Dad and I made 5 1/2 hour trip one way to Pa to pick this little guy up today.

Came with a blade, deck, factory paper work, and a spare engine in parts.

I got to drive the her into the truck and I can say she is in good shape.

I can now knock this year off my list of Ride A Matic we dont have all we need now is 1956, 1958, and a 1960.

Congratulations.

That's a nice looking original. What is the model # of it?

By any chance, would you have a close up picture of

the choke and throttle controls?

The look like they might be the same as the ones used on the

64 and 65 Massey Executives.

Congrats!

Looks like it even has the belt guards!

I think I seen this listed somewhere but it was more than I wanted to pay :D

Deck looks to be in decent shape too!

Congratulations on a good deal, Jerome. No Ride-a Matic collection would be complete without the ugly stepsister. :dancingbanana:

I always thought it was styled like that in an attempt to match the automobiles made at the time.  They had a similar style.

I was into my teens in 1962, so I remember the cars from then. Not even the cars were THAT weird looking.
