Thanks for the info! I'll take a pic tomorrow in the daylight and post it so you can have a look see at the undercarriage.

If I remember right, I used Rustoleum "Extreme Yellow" on mine, matched it to the color under the axle mounts.

I'll try to check for sure tomorrow on the color match, I think my memory may have failed --- again!    ~~  Lowell

I checked mine & the paint matches the cap on John Deere "Construction Yellow" #TY25627.

If iterested, I had Vintage Reproductions replicate my model 39 cart decal. My cart was a funky green from the factory.

That's funny because I ordered one from there and have it already! :D

So i took the cart apart tonight and some of the parts are soaking in my vinegar tank. This is what was left of the frame once i tore it down.

I have some work to do on the rear of the bed. Gonna cut this off and flat and bend a pipe to put in to give me the lip back.

Shouldn't take me long to get this done!

Got the frame primed tonight and went to the hardware store for some white paint. Went to the JD dealership for some construction yellow paint as well. I also fixed the back of the dump bed by cutting off the rotten metal and cutting it flat and putting a pipe that is roughly the same size as the lip in it's place. Then a little body putty to smooth out the cracks.
