Don't let the 6 hour drive stop you, i live about a 1/2 hour away, but can only haul 2 tractors at a time. So it 's going to take me 6 hours to get the 12 there i'm bringing.

That's what we want to hear, every tractor helps, i wonder what the record is for the most garden tractors at a show is ? I know the wheel horse show and findlay show were each around 800. I think we might beat that

Very nice, Bob is a great guy and his crew does a great job running the pulls. The time is counting down. I will be giving you a call tomorrow Josh.

I have been working on the club's website. Waiting to hear back from a couple to see what they think of it.

Josh, will there be any type of security on the show site each night? I'm bringing some rare items, and I'm a little concerned about leaving things there overnite with nobody around. Is the property fenced in from the public? I don't have an enclosed trailer, so locking things up at night will be hard. Might there be a vacant building on the grounds to store tractors in overnite? Let us know when you get a chance.
Thanks!

I can't answer the security question but I know there are no permanent buildings on the show grounds. I know there will be people camping so that will help with some security. Hopefully Josh or Dan can answer the rest.

You could run a chain thru the chassis or wheels of the tractors/items and lock them up to a trailer or two once unloaded, that should secure all that. I doubt anyone will take chained up stuff if there are non chained up items nearby. Most tractor guys are honest though.

If anyone is coming from further away and doesn't feel safe leaving their stuff at the show(I don't think this should be a concern though) you are welcome to bring it to our place to park it overnight. We are about 3 miles from the show. Just throwing that out as an option.

I once drove from Harrisburg, PA to Tulsa. Left at noon on a Friday, slept a couple hours in Ohio and was home by 5:00 p.m. Saturday. Don't want to do that again. That was when I had a 1-ton pulling a 40' mini-float(hot shot rig). I think I did okay.
