12BB01 power ho came with a cultivator.  Also had a cast iron grill instead of aluminum, only one i've ever found that way, have been told there was very few made that way.

Do you have pictures of this 12BB with cast iron grille?

I also have a Power Ho Deluxe (12BB01) with a cast iron grill. Which came first, the cast iron or the aluminum?

This Simplicity 990184 is my first. I got it just a week ago, and am going to

start working on it today. I plan on putting a dozer blade on it.

Mine was a 1946 B1-6 Graham-Paige Rototiller.  I used it to put in our vegetable garden.  Awesome machine, and by far the best tiller I've ever used.

been thinking on getting one of those for several yrs, but just never find one good enough to use without a lot of work. I already have a big roto-spader for the back of my Suburban, and another 3pt one that of the older vertical engine model.

My first walkbehind,,, a Gravely 12 hp with a few tools.  Still have it and use it a bit, mostly with the 30" mower deck and its the backup small snow machine.

I would guess they were having a supply problem. A similar thing happened with DB at one time where Briggs went on strike and DB was forced to use a Conte model engine for a time. This is why they built the model 560 tractor with a briggs and the model 561 with a Conte. Had this not happened, we possibly would have never had the second tractor.
