Thanks for the pics!! Nice tractor and planter! Quite hilly there! How many acres of corn have you planted so far?

We tilled about 100 acres last week. It felt good to do some field work!

We started Saturday,got 25 acres or so in the ground.  Started with a 104 day Pioneer hybrid.  When will you guys start planting ?

Probably as soon as it dries back out, and the forecast doesn't call for any long stretches of cold weather. A farmer planted some corn just a few miles from us, maybe last Saturday.

if and when it dries out and warms up a bit we will be working 20 hours a day trying to keep up with the planters.

lat lat week we had the last of the anhydrous ammonia custom applied, by the company that I work for ,  sure did not take him long...

on sunday Dad was disking and a middle bearing went out. not a fun project.

we got about 125 acres of corn left and 70 or so of beans. we are getting there....

Do you plant some corn on corn? It looks like he's applying anhydrous in a field that was corn.

We haven't planted any beans yet. My dad did get almost all the fields that will be planted in soybeans this year sprayed last week..
