What a fantastic web site. I never imagined this would be as informative as it is. Then again - you don't know that until you join. Wish I had been able to check this out from the start but still being on dial-up has it's limitations.
Anyway - Panzers & attachments are going to be the featured tractor at the Zagray Farm Museum in Colchester, CT on July 19-20. Having full size tractors featured at the farm happens on a regular basis but this will be a first for garden tractors and we're hoping it will be the start of something new with other brands of garden tractors being featured every year, either by themselves or in addition to farm tractors, crawlers or engines. I'll be posting a couple of flyers as soon as I get done editing them. but for now, I'll throw out a few tidbits. You can also check out the farm's web site at www.qvea.org for more detailed information and photos. The show is on July 19-20 (Sat & Sun) but it's perfectly fine to get there on Thursday or Friday, which I would recommend if possible. If you wait till too late on Saturday, there will still be room but it starts to get tight in the show field. The farm will be setting aside space for the Panzer display but space will be limited in that area. Except for the display area, primitive camping is allowed with your equipment and is free of charge. Either tent camping or RV is fine but there are no hook-ups. Safe drinking water is available on the grounds for filling water tanks, bottles, etc. It can get hot there in July. There are plenty of shaded areas but the show field is out in the open. I would suggest bringing a canopy if you have one.
I'll close for now but will add more details as time goes by. If you need more info feel free to reach me here or at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Hey - has anybody seen my peanutbutter and Fluff sandwich? I think I ran over it with the Wife's Panzer yesterday and now it's probably mashed and frozen into the tire tread. I've got a feeling I'll be sleeping in a cold camper till spring.
