Thought you guys would like to know this before the article comes out:

After looking at some literature and a Brochure. (courtesy of Gttractor) Some of the tube frames such as the 600, 800 and 900 were made a year longer than I first thought.

During my research, I have found that even some of the Bolens documents have errors in them which makes it even more difficult.

I believe I have it figured out now...

Here is what I originally thought:

Bolens 600 (originally believed to be made from 62'-64')
Correction: They were also made in 1965

Bolens 800 (Originally thought to be made 63'-64')

Correction: They were also made in 1965

Bolens 900 (Originally thought to be made only 1 year 1964)
Correction: They were made in 1965 also.

I will explain in more detail in the article.

I sympathize with you 100%
Since I started collecting the Ridemasters, I have been also searching for and collecting any information that I can find on them.
Several times I have had to revise what I thought was correct because something else would turn up that proved I was wrong.

The discrepancy in the Bolens information goes all the way back to these first tractors.
I have copies of some of the factory engineering changes for the Ridemasters and even those have areas that are confusing and contradictory.

Yes, I know exactly what you mean.
Now that I have a good collection of manuals and literature, I was able to sort out some things. For example if the information that was stated in one manual was also stated in numerous other manuals, I was able to rule out the manuals that had the sketchy info.

It almost seems like Bolens was even confused on their models LOL
