Overall looks to be in good shape. Unfortunately some spilled paint on it- missing the key (Doug is it a special type?) I am on the road so can not try my other GE key. Had a bunch of original paperwork that came with it. Looks to be in great shape!
Better to have too much paint than not enough!
So, what's the battery situation?
I'd love to have one myself.

Looks good, really good, hardly any rust at all on it. Put batteries in it and it might run.

From what I know there are only 2 keys used for all the tractors, shouldn't be a problem to get one.

I see you have the "home owners service manual", that will tell you step by step how to diagnosis and fix these tractors. It is most important manual to have, covers all models and changes they made during production.

What is the serial # ? It will tell you when it was made.

JN25294 anyway to by pass the key to try to see if it roll run?

Sept 25/1970   294th of the line

It's an early model, first known serial # is Sept 17/1970

I check on the key, should be able to jump the 2 wires to make it run.

That looks like it's in great shape for a 70'.

I like the short wheel base on those. Unique.

There was some negotiation made - I was lucky it was onl about 60 miles off my path.
When I left the wife told the husband she knew they had found the right buyer - it was a nice thing for her to say- it made my day
I was really pleased at all the paperwork- and it is all fr the original owner
