A local hotdog eatery seems to have a tradition of opening on a tuesday in March . A little observation of few last seasons gives a pattern of opening the first tuesday after the second Sunday in March . To coincide with opening first Tuesday after starting DST , which changed in 2007 .  They vote that hotdogs  are good outdoor food after that .

Around here we know it's spring when the snowbirds return and flock to the local Ice Cream Shop.       Roger.

Sparky, I may skip the first week. I never have held much pomp and circumstance on opening day, mainly because it kinda makes me nuts to stand line for an hour for a wiener.
He's talking about a little Mom and Pop called Eddie's foot longs. The toppings are good (especially the meat sauce & 'kraut), the help is friendly and they have good fries too. They have been around longer than I have been and with a little luck, they may be here after im gone.
I wish them another successful season.

I love hot dog places.  Wife and I will go for a drive, and if there's a hot dog joint or stand along the way we always stop. One of the many small pleasures in our lives.

It seems that the fairmont wv area is polluted with hot dog places. Most of which are terrible. Gulla dogs in Bellaire ohio are my favorite
