Nice machine! I have a 1970 SS12 with tec engine. Don't see many Briggs around on the ones by me!

Nice machine! I have a 1970 SS12 with tec engine. Don't see many Briggs around on the ones by me!

 

The 71 ( SS14 )and 72 (SS15) were the only two models of suburban from 1966 to 1978 that used a Briggs motor. They may have started using Briggs twins in 1978, but would have to check that.

Hi Tahoe! Glad to see you! I only seen one with Briggs in bone yard! All the ones I see are tecs or onan!

I picked up my snow plow today for the SS15. It looks nice but even though the PO had painted it I think I'll repaint it this summer. It got dark on me if we don't get the bad weather early tomorrow I might figure out how it attaches...pics tomorrow.

The dirt plow or the snow plow? I know the dirt plow slides into mule drive and has two arms with pins going to bottom ears of front end. Then has bracket on right side for the angle and lock bars.

Snow plow. I didn't get the sickle bar he still has it if anyone wants it. I will post a few pics of it on the "Everything for sale" thread tomorrow.
