I have the electric blade clutch off of my Ford YT16H right now.It was oily from a engine leak. I have cleaned the outside and I wonder about disassembling it to clean the inside. Anybody on here ever take one apart and was able to reassemble it? Thanks.

Have you checked the manuals section for a service manual that may show a parts breakdown. I'm wondering if you could spray or soak it with a mild solvent like paint thinner and get the oil out of it without taking it apart. You would need to be careful to keep any bearings from being degreased.

I haven't uploaded the Service Manual as yet, Brian. Right now it is in 6 parts and I wanted to put it all together. I just looked through it and it doesn't show a breakdown of the PTO clutch, only removal, installation, & adjustment.

thom, if you want a copy, I can PM the 6 parts to you.
